Following the recent release of her 80s, synth-tinged album Cult Survivor, DJ and songwriter Sofie has just dropped a new lyric video to support album track 'Try To Reach Me'. The video is a 90s-style promo, by 2Kids & Sofie. It's split between performance, and distorted snippets of film of Sofie and urban landscape. Led by a catchy guitar repetition and Sofie's layered vocals, the songs is mesmerising. Production is lo-fi and wonderfully intimate, thanks to crunchy bass, weeping organ, mirroring the nostalgic feel of the video. Check it out here! -Ellie Rose-Davies
